New Photos of the CAME-TV 8000 3 Axis Gimbal

If you are flying any camera larger than a Canon C100, you will not be able to use a CAME-TV 7000/7500 or Varavon Birdycam. You will have to look into either the DJI Ronin or possibly the new CAME-TV 8000.

CAME-TV has released some updated photos of this soon to be released 8000 model designed to support heavier camera systems. Below is an early video showing an unfinished prototype unit.

Before the product is officially available, CAME-TV is offering a discount for pre-orders. Find out more information at the product page (click here).

Hi. Thanks for all your hard work. Your opening sentence leads me to believe that a c100 would fit on a Came TV 7500 and thus presumably a Came TV 7800—any chance you can confirm this for me? Thanks again. Best -Jake

@Jake – Sorry, no the C100 will not physically fit in the CAME 7500 or 7800 gimbals. You will be looking more towards the 8000 only for the C100.

when using the 8000 will i be able to leave the grip attached on my canon c100, or does it need to be removed to fit?
